This page explains the data PrepBoat uses to provide resume and interview services.
Information we collect
We store account details, submitted career information, uploaded resume files, generated resumes, interview answers and assessment reports so you can access your history. If you voluntarily enter a referral phone number, we store it to identify and credit the referring partner under the referral program.
How information is used
Your information is used to authenticate your account, provide purchased services, personalize AI-assisted feedback, and respond to support requests. Relevant content may be sent securely to the configured AI service for generation.
Security and control
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. AI credentials remain on the server. Production deployments should use HTTPS, restricted file access, routine backups and a documented deletion process.
